Published this week in The Times: Birthrates are falling. For antinatalists, that is the goal.
Editorial assignment photographing a woman who identifies as an antinatalist for a feature exploring a growing subculture and the beliefs behind it.
One of a number of editorial assignments I’ve worked on with The Times recently.

Published last month in The Times: The hidden stories of the women in the Bayeux Tapestry.
A fascinating assignment exploring the often-overlooked stories of the women connected to one of history’s most famous works of art — from its likely female creators to the figures woven into the embroidery itself.
One of a number of editorial assignments I’ve worked on with The Times over recent weeks, and a pleasure to see this one published.

For Helsingin Sanomat: photographing Sam Cader and his corgis in Windsor.
A story that began with a familiar British image, but opened into something broader around breeding, health and welfare.
Photographed in Windsor, the setting helped place the story within a recognisable royal and national context, while the images also focused on the everyday interaction between the dogs, their owner and the public around them.

The Eton College Field Game, a sport only played at Eton.
Part rugby, part tradition, and a spectacle that has barely changed in centuries.

Yesterday, I was on assignment outside Buckingham Palace shortly after news broke that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor had been arrested on his 66th birthday.
Commissioned by @helsinginsanomat, I photographed the reactions of people stopping in front of the palace.
There was no spectacle, just a steady stream of conversations. Students, tourists and passersby paused to share their thoughts. A mix of weariness, frustration and, for some, a sense that accountability was overdue.
The King’s standard was flying above the palace, a quiet reminder of the institution at the centre of it all.
Published online and in today’s print edition of Helsingin Sanomat.
John Keating photographed at sunrise, where river mist and soft pink skies framed a moment of stillness, as Windsor slowly began to wake.
Shot in Annecy as the destination re-entered the @tuilakes programme, this second part focuses on the everyday moments that give the town its character — how people move through it, pause, and spend time by the lake.
Photographed in a documentary style, with all imagery now forming the visual foundation of the destination on the website.
Destination photography photographed on location in Annecy, France, following its reintroduction into the TUI Lakes & Mountains programme.
The assignment focused on documenting the rhythm of the town and the experience of being there, using a documentary-led approach rather than staged scenes.
